I am sitting in school, on Monday morning, waiting for my class to begin. Oh, there's my teacher. I have to be discreet now.

I am so tired! I worked all weekend, and slept very, very badly. I don't know why, but I think it might be because I was anticipating an early morning. And it got really cold. And now I am so tired I have a headache. Damn.

So yeah, my school started about three weeks ago, and so far I have learned some stuff, and done very little homework, and it seems to me there are too many free hours in the week for this to be full time. But I hear it will get way more difficult in term two. My current class is Adobe Acrobat. We're making a pdf. How complicated. Utterly boring. I have a couple of classes that seem like a complete waste of time, but I really like the web technologies, which involves coding websites, html, xhtml, css, javascript, etc. And then our photoshop classes are pretty good. I just found out we won't be learning InDesign at all during this year, so I guess I have a bit of an upper hand already knowing the program.

So I worked all this weekend, selling shoes at a warehouse sale on Wed, Fri and Sun, and hosting at BC Place on Sat. The shoe sale thing was insane. People go nuts over what they think are bargains. The shoes started out costing 59 for a shoe and 99 for a boot, and on the last day they were 20/35. And the last hour of the last day the remaining shoppers could fill a whole bag for 125 dollars plus tax - and that is when people went mad. People filled bags of ugly shoes they probably will never wear, and walked out dragging bags behind them, with crazy beaming smiles on their faces. Idiotic.

Another exciting thing coming up this weekend... We're moving! To Main and 33, right in a gap where there are no grocery stores. I am going to miss no frills, even though I don't like it, it is cheap. And cheap is good. So we will be living in a sort of basement suite, pretty big, but not all too close to either downtown or my school. At least I won't have to take 2 buses and 2 skytrains to school anymore, but 2 buses, and that's it. I'll let you know how the move goes and post some pictures after the weekend. And due to the move, we have to get more stuff, since we pretty much don't own anything in our current apartment. Shelves, chairs, lamps, blankets, you name it. Not fun.
